simply select the theme "blank" in the module options and only style your menu using the interface
because currenty what you want to remove is set in the theme

Using maxiMenu with sticky effect.
When I scroll down the page very slowly and back up there will be no gap above the menu. Scrolling down normal or fast (after reload the page) sometimes leaves a 8px gap (margin-top) on body element. But I can´t scoll up any further.
After reloading the page there is no margin on element.
Additional from template-creator (Custom CSS) seems to work ...
