Maximenu online update not working

Is there something I have to do to make Maximenu Pro update automatically?
The normal update method gives me...

Code:

Warning
Update path does not exist.
Error
Error updating COM_INSTALLER_TYPE_TYPE_.

Updating by just manually installing the new version works fine.

Do I need to install my licence number somewhere or something?

OK - now fixed. I'd missed the bit about installing the Extension Manager.
