Migrating V8 to V9 removes all gradients

I just upgraded from V8 to V9 and on one site, there are 3 menus in 3 languages. My problem is that in the first case, English, the background colours second colour disappeared. In the other 2 languages, it removed all of the formatting completely. I can't leave this as it is a client site, so I will revert the Joomla site back to 3.9.15 using Akeeba restore. I don't know what happened, but I have quite a few sites that are using this and if I have to redo every menu, I will not be happy.

Followed all the documentation and in the legacy V8, all the formatting was there although the menu bar was wider then the menu link buttons. When I selected the V9, the gradient colors went from for example blue to black to being blue to nothing, that is no color value at all. I also had borders in a light grey at 1px, and V9 has removed the pixel value, that is, there is no number in the pixel value even though there is a color there. I didn't restore the site but went in and edited it so it looks ok. It doesn't look like it did before the update, but I can cope with this. The site is littleredhenproductions.com.au if you want to have a look. I have quite a few sites and really don't want to have to edit all of these along with the Joomla update.

ok, for the other sites, please do that
- before updating : edit your module and check the styles customization >> do you have some settings there ? click on the export button to get your styles saved into a file
- check the theme selected in the styles options

then update
- try with the "legacy v8 mode" in the advanced options >> is it all ok ?
if no, let me know
if yes :
- edit the styles customization >> save
- check that everything is still ok
- swtich to "V9" mode
- check that everything is ok
- in the styles >> select >> choose the style with the module id that has been created.Else create a new style and import your file preiously created
- save your style

anyway, if you export your styles from the V8 , then import them in the V9, you shall get them back
hope it helps

For info, other users have updated without problem on many sites

I also can't edit the sub menu background colors. Originally, it was blue to black gradient and even though it shows the 2 colors, the only color that shows is blue, the second color isn't showing at all.
