Hello Forum,

I have set up a website test.cnc-network.eu/kunena using MaximenuCK 8.2.19 with MaximenuCK Params 4.2.8, because I like the different options to create menus easily with many effects very much. It's really a great tool!

Unfortunately, I found some problems interacting with the Kunena Forum 5.1.15 under Joomla 3.9.14. After searching for reasons I've found a relation to MaximenuCK.

As soon as I activate the JavaScript effects in MaximenuCK, the editor in Kunena for creating new topics does not display the standard toolbar and also the button for uploading attachments has no function - the button only shows the hoover effect, but not any response after clicking on it.

As soon as I deactivate the JavaScript effects in MaximenuCK, the editor toolbar in Kunena is operating fine again and also the upload of files was possible without any problems.

I think the reason is a JavaScript conflict between MaximenuCK and Kunea. Unfortunately, my Java skills are not good enough to localize the problem more precisely. I'm not sure, if the problem is located in Kunea or in MaximenuCK, but it still exist ...

Anyway, I would be very happy to get support regarding this problem.
Does anyone has any idea?

Thanks a lot for any help!

Kind regards

what you describe is strange because Maximenu CK uses the native jQuery included into Joomla
please give me the login details so that I can check the issue and see what happens

Thanks a lot for your quick reply.

Unfortunatelly, I did not find a possibility to send you a personal message out of this forum. Anyway, I've sent you the login data by using the "Report to moderator" - hopefully that message will find the way to you ...

Thanks again for your support!

Hello ced1870,

I'm glad that the test-account works - no problem regarding the "dot"

I have checked all the menu effects.
You're right, if I choose "open" there is no conflict with the Kunena Forum.
Also the effects "slide", "show" and "fade" are working fine without any problems.

The problem occurs when using the effects "scale", "puff" and "drop".

Kind Regards
