No blank theme in later versions of params

Just updating my old website where the menu was originally styled using the blank theme (now called pre-sets).

You seemed to have removed this theme from the later versions and just wondering if there is any chance it could return?

I don't need anything too fancy and that worked perfectly.

the blank theme has not been removed
You can set it in the module options >> style >> theme
If you use a preset in the sytling interface, it shall automatically switch on the blank theme

Not sure I really understood your reply.

I could not select "blank" at:
Components >> Maximenu CK Params >> Options Tabs >> Presets
I previously could in earlier versions but now there are a lot of effects but no "blank" option.

Then I went to:
Module >> Options Tabs >> Style Options
and selected "blank" but that had no effect on the menu styling.

I eventually pressed Reset Settings within Maximenu CK Params and that finally got rid of the styling and gave me a blank template I required. However It would have made a lot more sense (well to me anyhow) if you had simply left the Blank theme as a choice within the Presets.

Don't wish to sound nasty but the more I have been trying to work with Maximenu CK and the params configuration tool, the more I am getting frustrated.

Even more bizarre is that I am now getting square brackets when hovering over menu links and Javascript effects are turned off. Where they have suddenly appeared from I have absolutely no idea? I have also spent the last 3 hours trying to get of rid of them and what I see in the preview area of maximenu params is not what I am getting on the front end.

this is not normal
please check if you have a cache enabled in your website because this can cause your design to not be applied immediately
Also give me the url of the website where I can see the menu in action to check the problem

I have finally figured out what is going wrong.

The template was created using another of your excellent products "Template Creator CK" where I used multiple wrappers to split areas of the web page. It seems in my haste I used a "horizontal menu" module position rather than "Aligned Modules" so I assume this conflicted with the CSS of maximenu.
