Display Categories Images instead Products

Hi guys
I want to display categories images instead products directly..
There is a way to do this? link is: www.matelelettronica.it

for example, if I click a category from the menu, it will display sub-categories (with image category), instead products...

You can choose
to use the thumbnail image of the category, or another image.
