Bug in params upodate to 4.2.6

Sorry, but reinstalling the Params resolved the failure, but my website uses two instances of MaxiMenu CK on several pages. The main menu along the top of the page appears as it should before and after the Params update. However the second, which appears only on a fer pages, does not appear on any of them.

Attached: #1 shows all installed MaxiMenu extensionss, #2 shows secondary menu displayed, Parans not installed, #3 shouws same page after Params installed.

Any ideas?

There is no reason why your menu shall not work anymore after the update. Are you sure that it was working before ?
Please check again, the assignment, state, and everything. Also clear your cache and tell me

Sorry for the delay. Yes all caches cleared: CloudFlare, Hosting company (SiteGround), Joomla and my browser. Tried installing Params before upgrading to Joomla 3.9.1, Page worked as expected. Upgraded to 3.9.1. Menu was not displayed. Reloaded (Akeeba) backup of production site to get 3.9.0 site. Installed 3.9.1 update, menu was displayed. Then Params update, and menu was not displayed. No errors shown in Chrome debugging console or in site error_log.

on the joomla 3.9.1 where you have updated the params, and the menu does not display, can you downgrade the params by installing the previous version (I don't know which version you had before) and tell me if the menu comes back or not
Just to be sure, you have only updated the Params, not the module ?

This is interesting and surprising

I did look for a previous version of Params to see if I could replace 4.2.6 by, say 4.2.5 but I could not find an earlier version to try. Could you tell me where to find this?
