this is because you have a 1px border transparent in normal mode, and no border on hover >> you get a 1p xmove on hover
you can use the theme "blank" to start your styles instead of using the "css3megamenu", this will be better

just go in the module options >> theme >> select "blank". Then check your menu and adapt to what you need
