Hello Cédric,

Where can I find the menu assignement for events by joomla event manager?

If I open an event in the modul "jem event teaser", this event is shown but the maxi main menu is no longer visible.
I can't find where to assign the main menu to these events.

Can you help me?

Here the link to my page again: https://www.mcv-moemlingen.de

Kind regards
Kurt

PS: Another question: Where do I activate the hamburger icon für the mobile menus?

Hi
this is not a problem from maximenu, this is an assignment problem and this is totally controlled by joomla
in general to assign a module you must have a menu item to that page

Thanks Cédric for this information.

I will ask in the JEM forum if there is a solution for that problem.

Could you please give me an information to my other question:

Where do I activate the hamburger icon für the mobile menus?

Thank you

Have a nice day

in the module >> mobile options >> you can enable the hamburger icon
the best solution would be to use the maximenu mobile plugin as you have a big menu

Hi Cédric,

I found the option for the hamburger icon in the plugin, but the icon is very small and I couldn't find where to change the setting so that it will apear a little bit bigger (see screenshot) and I also changed the word for closing to "Schließen" This word is cut off at the end (see screenshot) and I don't know where to change settings that it will apear a little bit more to the left.

Here are my settings:

Do you have a hint for me?

Kind regards

Kurt

you can change the width of the button to have the correct space for your word, and also give a font size in the text options of the button to have a bigger hamburger icon
I think that you have all what you need in the interface

Hi Cédric,

I m sure that I can choose all options in the settings.
The problem is, that you know every single letter and every single setting in your Extensions, but a user often doesn't know which setting is for which thing.

For example the plugin is called "Maximenu CK Mobile".
That's why I think that all options in this plugin are specially for the mobile version of the maxi menu.

But then I can choose between "Menu Bar - Button" and "Mobile Menu - Button".
Where is the difference, because there is only one button?
I found out that the "Mobile Menu - Button" is for closing the menu.

I tried different settings, but the result is now, that I have two burger icon (a small one and a bigger one) and for closing I have a "X" and the written "Schließen" (see sreenshots)

Here are my setting.
I am sorry not to find the correct settings for this problem:

Maybe you can tell me what exactly I have to change to get the result, having the burger icon and maybe just the grey "x" (without a white background) for closing.

Thanks in advance and sorry again that I waste your time.
Kurt

there are 2 buttons :
1/ in the bar where you click to open the menu
2/ in the menu itself once opened

this is exactly what you can see in your screenshots (4 & 5)

remove the background images for the buttons so you can put your own text/icons instead. In this theme you will get an example of icons made with images
