submenu obscure by photo slider

After adding a photo slider module in the area below the maxi menu bar, the submenu dropdown is obscured by the photo (displayed behind the photo). Is there a parameter to set to bring the display of the submenu in front of the photo? Before adding teh photo slider, the submenu was on top of the content area below the menu bar.

if you photo slider is a flash object you must set it with the param opaque. The issue is more from the slider than the menu
