Style of mouse over submenu / main menu behind

I shall remind you to my problem with the "main horizontal menu" in my post "gap for sub-sub menu / mouse over design" from april 05.

I stlill have the problem, that menu item type "System links - Separator" are not highlighted and there is only the cursor-icon like in an editor and not the hand-icon of the mouse while mouse over this menu item in the sub menus. It doesent matter if I have vertical or horizontal menu. Live view: test.mcv-moemlingen.net/index.php/archiv/2016-2017 (choose in the vertical menu "Prunksitzung" - Videos" or in the main menu "Archiv ab 2000")

Another problem is, that if you click on the menu item "Aktuelle Saison" in the main menu, the side menu is shown.
But if you mouse over the menu item "Fotoalben" in the main menu, the submenue is behind the sidemenu / not behind the module) see attached screenshot
