Javascript conflict

I've installed Maximenu and ExtendedReg on my site.

When I try to submit the registration form with required fields empty, the registration form goes no where. I've been to the ExtendedReg developers for support and they think Maximenu is causing a conflict with ExtendedReg. The form should attempt to submit and error messages should appear when required fields are empty but the page stays the same.

They said the conflict lies within this code:

window.addEvent('domready', function() {new SlideList(document.getElement('div#maximenuCK ul'),{fancyTransition : 'Quad',fancyEase : 'easeOut',fancyDuree : 500});});

Any ideas?

I tried disabling fancy effect but the problem still exists.

Any help you can offer is greatly appreciated.

I don't see any error...
does it work if you disable the maximenu module ?
