for me your whitespace comes from your copyright in the div#fineprint

the menu works well and has no effect by my side on this

nah i added the spacing there to FIX the problem.

without the spacing the hidden menu pushes the page down, then when you hover over it the menu moves up and releases the whitespace at the bottom.

Ive done this test with a fresh install also just incase it was my css code however it didnt fix the problem.

Its probably something you will want to fix in your next release
