Hello,

I purchased the plugin for the MaxiMenu and if it is enabled, I get the following error when I try to edit or add a new menu item:

Warning: fopen(...plugins/system/maximenu_CK_params/advanced_params_maximenu_ck-en.xml)
[function.fopen]: failed to open stream: A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 60 seconds exceeded ...

How do I fix this?

Hi
your are on localhost, you should call you webpage with http://127.0.0.1 instead of localhost.

I'm also having a fopen problem with the plugin, but it's working great on localhost, the problem happens only on the server. I tried enabling the ftp layer, but it makes no difference. The fopen plugin is also enabled on the server.

Warning: fopen( test.solabs.com/plugins/system/maximenu_...s_maximenu_ck-en.xml ) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: HTTP request failed! HTTP/1.1 401 Authorization Required in [...]/web/libraries/joomla/filesystem/file.php on line 246

Thanks

if you have this error it seems that your server does not allow fopen.
Email me with the joomla contact page www.joomlack.fr/Contact/Cedric-KEIFLIN.html
give me the date you bought the plugin, I'll give you a modified version.

I just ask if your login system to connect to your website is not in cause. Check by deactivating it temporarly
