Custom Font Not Being Displayed in Windows 10 was created by JDTravel
Hi, My Theme makes use of the font Caviar Dreams and I specified it's use in Maximenu CK Params. Its not a Google Font but its defined in the theme and works well on my Windows Vista Laptop in all main browsers. I've now updated to a new laptop that runs on Windows 10 and I find that the Menu is now using a default font, (possibly Times New Roman) in all browsers. All other parts of the theme are correctly using the Caviar Dreams font. I'm using Maximenu CK Params Version 4.1.0, has this issue been fixed in version 4.1.2?
My Site is www.lamangaclubspain.com
Any help would be very much appreciated, thanks.

Hi
when you say that it defined in the theme, you mean the template ?
by my side I don't see where your font files are loaded and I think that this is the problem .
If the font is loaded, maximenu will use it
CEd
The font family is applied to the menu, but it is not loaded in the pageIts not a Google Font but its defined in the theme

Hi CEd, I still cannot get the font to display in the menu, I've added a new Google font 'Josefin Sans' to the theme and this does not display either. It may be that the font hasn't installed correctly as there doesn't seem to be a standard method of installing fonts. The theme is correctly displaying the Caviar Dreams font on all areas of the site apart from the menu, I'm not sure why this is.
Any help would be much appreciated thanks.

it seems that some fonts are loaded with http, but you are in https so this is blocked
on the menu the font "Caviar Dreams" is applied, but in your template this is "Caviar Dreams Regular".
There is probably something to check here too

Hi CEd,
I fixed this by directly updating the css file at mod_maximenucl->themes->custom->css->maximenuck_maximenuck275.ck
Updated font name from 'Caviar Dreams' to 'Caviar Dreams Regular'
My skill in this area is limited for me to locate the exact problem, so I'll leave it as is for now.
Thanks for your help
Kind regards
John
