First item is not opening the article on mobile

Hello,

i don't know why, but when tapping on mobile on the first item of a menu, then it is only showing the sub items. When tapping again on the first it is closing the submenu.

On desktop it is opening the sub menu when hovering and opens the article which is linked to the first item when clicked on.

Why does it not show the first menu-item article on mobile?
(I understand you can not hover on mobile)

Thanks for this beauty menu!

kind regards,
jjs

ok than you have answered yourself ! :)
there no mouseover, only the "click" (or tap) which only launch one action
if you redirect the page, then you will never be able to open the submenu

what you can do is to use the maximenu mobile plugin if you really want to have a specific menu for touch devices

Ok thank you for your reply on this.
Ok i will think about it.

For now i think to create a menu item extra below it, because i noticed that some people don't understand that the first one is also an menu-item (on desktop that is).

Kind regards,

you can use a "text separator" item type if you don't want it to be clickable
