Display Virtuemart Sub Categories with plugin

Hi,
i would like to display the subcategories of a category when you click on a category at the menu, not only the products. This function is like the regular menu with Category Layout and Page Layout: Categories.
I am using the virtuemart plugin that creates automatic a menu with all the categories.

do you want to display the categories in the page ? or in the menu ?
for the page, it takes the settings from hikashop, related to the menu item that you have set in the module options
