Parent Icon showing but set off

Why is there a black triangle parent icon showing?
Main Menu - Parent Icon - Icon Type is set to 'None'

(If I set it to 'Triangle' I get the expected white arrow but going to 'None' just turns it black!!)

... and in the "Cotswold Players" sub menu, how would I get the vertical menu items spaced out a bit more?

That's fixed the arrow problem. I had the latest params but not the latest module!
