Error in xmap plugin was created by d4W
Hi Ced!

I've got an older site that I updated now to J! 3.4.5. Everything works fine now. Also the old installation of xmap seems to work but I'm getting two errors:
Code:
Strict Standards: Only variables should be assigned by reference in /joomla-installationpath/plugins/system/maximenu_CK_xmap/maximenu_CK_xmap.php on line 33 Strict Standards: Only variables should be assigned by reference in /joomla-installationpath/plugins/system/maximenu_CK_xmap/maximenu_CK_xmap.php on line 41

Is there an existant solution? Didn't find a download link for the plugin any more.

BTW: As the fork MapX of XMap exists which works on J! 3.5 it would be very nice if you could fix the plugin, respectively offer it for J! 3.

Thanks and greets.

Hi
this plugin is no more maintained by my side.
Just a simple question, are you using Maximenu Params or not ?

Hi Ced,

yes I do.

So I now have a problem. My only and as I think normally simple concern is to create a sitemap. I did not test all sitemap generators but I can imagine that none will work fine as I think they all will fail to display the menu items as they should be displayed (without || and a space instead).

So does this really mean I have to say goodbye to Maximenu or am I just wrong?

You are wrong :)
So you are using maximenu params, then you don't have to use such code in the title and you shall never do it !
The params allows you to set the options directly in the interface when editing the menu item, without altering the item title. That is why I have asked you

Now for your first request, you can just set your php error report level to none in the website configuration to hide your strict standard message
