Extension Manager

I find it very inconvenient to be forced to use Joomlack's extension management system rather than Joomla's native system. Is there a way to do the native system without having to download an updated file each time?
Having multiple websites creates a substantial amount of extra work that would not be necessary if the Joomla native system could be used.

I don't understand what you mean
Extensions Manager CK is needed to setup your Pro licence, then can use the joomla update system
and if you have only Light versions, you don't need Extensions Manager CK at all
