Easy image caption seems unable to detect the img class 'thumb'

Hi
I am trying to avoid the captions of the image of the articles listed in the category page (and visible in the article page).
In the category page all the images are assigned to the class 'thumb', so I have included the class name in the 'Apply plugin to images > all except the following > except classes', but the caption is still visible (you can see the issue on ).
What might be my mistake?

where do you add the "thumb" class ? into an override or in settings ?

The class 'thumb' is assigned to the image in the 'content - auto read more' plugin, which cuts the article to a preset number of characters (in the category page).
In the following screen print you can see the class assigned to the image of the article Stimolazione del ritmo gamma elimina l'amiloide nei topi di Alzheimer: ecco come , in the category page, i/e the page of the link ' www.alzheimer-riese.it/contributi-dal-mondo '.


Here you can see in your plugin how I have input the class:

I have made a simple test with an image using the class "thumb" and set the plugin to ignore this image class
it works

Please check in your plugins list, use the ordering column and make your "auto readmore" plugin to be listed before the easy image caption (you can put it in the end of the list)

I have changed the order as per your suggestion, but there is no change.
If it works for you, then there might be some conflict in my websites (actually 2, the same happens also on the site www.parrocchiariesepiox.it ).

I have changed a parameter in the 'Auto read more' plugin, the 'Strip formatting' from 'No' to 'Yes', and now the captions are no more visible in the category page.
The same applied to the other website with the same configuration.
