Background picture and colour possible?

Hi,

Firstly, what a fantastic module. It has totally transformed the dull look of my site and it is so easy to use.

My question is, can you set a module to have a background colour as well as an image?

The reason I ask is, I have a module which is currently white, I want to add a background colour to it and also a transparent png to give it a watermark effect.

I've attached an example pic.

My mistake, it can be done, but not using a colour gradient.
