Joomla will not refresh once published

So, we are new at joomla so I am sure it is something we are doing incorrectly.
We are running 2.5, and have purchased both CK Module and Feeds.
When we publish either one of them and we refresh a screen nothing returns just blank. One time the server actually crashed.

I know these work because I see all the good responses but not sure how we can mess it up

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

not sure to understand, publishing a module crashes your server ? this is a problem into your server then.
do you have an url ?
