Text and Slideshow Alignment

Slideshow CK installed and working perfectly on a localhost test site. I want a slideshow in an article to the left or right of a block of text for my responsive site. Using the Styles/Alignment certainly changes the slideshow position left/right but I can't get the text and the slideshow side by side. I am sure that I have missed something but what?

I don't really understand, your problem is just to align the module and the text of your article ?
if yes, then you have to do that in your article, this is not relative to the module
You can add a container <div> to the module and add it a "float:left" for example

Thank you I think I have just learned something important! I am adding info to the site and I don't understand coding. But have enough info to try and get this working now I hope.
