failed to load external entity

Hi,
I've updated to the latest version and I receive this message on the top of the configuration panel of the module:

And at the bottom the following message:
Why these messages ? and why do I need to buy this plugin ?
Before this update I never used this plugin.
I want to mention that on the frontend the slideshow it seems to work corectly.
