Video in Load from Folder?

I have some slideshows set up for users to just drop pics into a folder so that they appear in the slideshow.

Is it possible to do this with video? That is, just drop a video in the folder and it will play in the slideshow? Or do we have to put a link to the video in a text file associated with a picture?

good question .Anyway you need an image. So you could add the link with the TXT file using the code

Thanks for the quick reply. So, I guess that means I can't have the users upload the video to the folder the pictures are in? They will have to put it on some video service and put a link to that?

We're at a school, and are not allowed to put videos of students on services like youtube and vimeo, so if that's the case, we'll have to think of something else.

by default the slideshow does not embed a video player. it will work with a local video only on HTML5 browsers, then you can use an url that points to your server
