by default the slide manager is selected as source, so the images defined in the slide manager are displayed in the frontend. the module is working correct.

ok, but when you enable the plugin you should see the additional options for joomgallery in the module, here you can activate the images from JG

:woohoo: Found it! After uninstalling and reinstalling all plugins, slideshow CK is trying to load the images but can't find them. The plugin is looking for the original images but my joomgallery configuration is set to keep detail images and delete the originals after upload as the originals are allways to big.
Is there a possibility to tell the plugin to fetch the detail images?
