Slides Manager does not save selected images

Can only save three images in the slides manager. When I add a fourth or fifth I can select the image but the path gets dropped from the field on save and it is left blank.

Anyone have this problem?

you should be able to put more than 3 images
1/ your image path have a specific character which is filtered by joomla!
or
2/ your server does not accept the long string in the POST data and cut it

The error is not specific to any individual image path. For example:

images/home_slides/lexington/mastering.jpg

Nothing out of the ordinary there.

What I finally had to do was, after the third image, add another four images with the same path. Out of the four one saved. I then deleted the blanks.

yes you can do that

I have checked by my side using Firefox. I have added 3 slides without problem... you can see them into the module options (I have left them so you can see)

Upgraded my version of FireFox and it seems okay now. Thanks for checking.
