Turn Off Slides

Is there any way to turn the slides off so they do not appear on the front end but the slide, its image, and link is still saved in the module?

Sorry, let me clarify. I really like Slideshow CK but in other slideshow modules there is the ability to unpublish individual slides within the module itself. I want the Slideshow module published and running but lets say I have 8 slides in the module I want to be able to turn 3 of them off (unpublish) so that just 5 slides will appear on the front end. The reason is so that when I want those slides to appear again on the front end I do not have to re-type the image location, title, description, and link information again.
