Is there a way to remove the dots line (...)

I need to squeeze the height, but once I add a link to the slide, it automatically adds two lines!
Is there to remove this three dots (...) and its line. Then put Read more after the text in the same line? And How to change Read more color?

this is defined in the code of the module, so if you want to remove the dots you must edit the helper.php file.
for the readmore color you should be able to change it via css with the help of firebug
