Allowed memory size is exhausted...and so am I. was created by foxisms

I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me out with this.
I recently started using Slideshow CK on my internal (WAMP) test server and also on a hosted website that I've been running for some time now.
My local site runs perfectly. My www site however, does not if the CK mod is "published". The site crashes and I get the following message:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 4288 bytes) in /home/content/41/12493041/html/modules/mod_slideshowck/helper.php on line 596
I've tried removing quite a few of the images I'm using, but I still crash on attempting to launch my www site and the same amount of "exhausted memory appears in either case.
Does anyone know of a way to get around this?
Thanks in advance for any help or insights that anyone cares to offer.

I believe that,(at least in part) contributed to the solution.
Just to share,...I also unknowingly had "simple slideshow" in a 'published" state.
Between those two items in themselves, I can see where a memory drain could take place.
Thank you so much for your help!
