Recommended settings for portrait photos?

Landscape photos look awesome but I'm having problems getting portrait photos to appear properly. Not sure if it's the re-sized resolution thats an issue or if i need to adjust the slider size in advanced options.

The majority of this customers photos are in portrait to capture product high up the walls, otherwise I'd have them re-shoot in landscape.

what is exactly the problem ? you can set the slideshow dimensions in the styles options
