Changing Pagination dots to images instead

Hi, is it possible to change the dots from CSS dots, to just an inactive and active image instead, client is being very particular about the look of the dots, I mean sheesh, they are just dots!

I can see the CSS that draws them, but not sure what to change to replace them with images etc

edit the file camera.css in the theme of the module, then use your own css on the .pagination elements
