Slideshow CK update installation

I'm just jumping into Joomla 3 and am building a portfolio site, incorporating your Slideshow CK image viewer. I just noticed there is an update (1.31) and would like to know if I replace the module I installed a few days ago (1.22), will I have to replace the images I've installed in the slides, and remake the settings, or will it just replace part of the code, leaving my settings and slides as they are.

If you can give me any advice, I'd very much appreciate it!

if you install is over the existing one it will keep your settings and just replace the files of the module
