Slideshow rulez but

Hi all

I have Joomla 2.5 and virtuemart 2.0

I need to put a slideshow on the home page with a few pictures. I do not want to link to products and no need to display the products featured. That is not the case.

The home page points to the default layout of virtuemart.

I have marked this module to display only on the home page.

I noticed that the slideshow does not appear on any page joomla, but if I navigate product pages, categories or similar, the slideshow is displayed and it should not. I just need to dial the homepage with slideshow.

So ... what am I doing wrong? It is strange that if the page accessed is generated by the slideshow virtuemart shown and if the page has nothing to do with virtuemart, not shown.

Any idea?

ok, I had not correctly understood the problem.
Hmm, this seems as a joomla configuration issue, the module will load as any other module. So I can't help with this, you should look into joomla and ask on the VM forum how to set up a module to only show on the home page.
