how can i add alt tags in slideshow ck?

I must be missing something. When I add a title nothing shows up as alt="my title".

try to add a title to your image and tell me if you get the alt tag then

The title was present but "Show the Caption" was turned off. Doesn't seem to affect the alt tag either way.

I cleared the cache and now the alt tag is there. So it looks like I must have captions turned on.
