Unable to effect responsive caption settings

Home page text I am trying to show reduced text size in XS portrait view. No settings changes have any affect. I tried custom code in user.css and also ignored. Any suggestions please.

have you tried to use the "responsive" settings in the module where you can set the font size on mobile resolution ?

ok, check in the styles edition, you have setup the title font size at "44px", use something like "2em" instead so that the size can be adapted

Many thanks for pointing out what was causing this issue. I should have known this. I can now move on as settings are working as designed now.
