I just had 30 minutes with a beginner beginner beginner... and the slides didn't show up. Just her, me and a whiteboard. Brutal!

please give me more details :
- joomla version
- php version

have you used the demo data to test ? (just publishing the module without changes)
also go in your website configuration >> system >> debug, >> set it to YES and tell me if you got an error message
