Google Photos Album with a Video won't play video

I am using Slideshow CK to show Google Photos Albums. In some of the albums are videos. When I browse the album in photos.google.com, the video starts to play or I can click on it and it will open in a new tab and play as well. When I browse the album created by Slideshow CK, the video shows as an image and has a "play" button on it, but it does not play...either clicked or automatically.

Is there a way to make the video play from within the CK slideshow window?

I can't really share the link since the page is a login required page (ie they have to have logged into the Joomla site to see the page). Let me know if there is some other way...or if you can answer without access.

unfortunately, for now only the images are searched in the album. you get the thumbs from the videos, but the video can not be loaded

I will check if I can improve that

A thumbnail (with the "play" icon on it) would be fine if it could be clickable to a new window for the video - throwing ideas out.

I have investigated this request, unfortunately this is not possible currently
the fact is that I don't use the google api to get the images, to avoid complicated methods for the user.
I have no way to get the videos directly from the url of the album
