License key for core version

Hello.

I use Watchful.net to update extensions and plugins on my [J4.2.9] site. I have just tried to enable this auto-update on a new site for Slideshow CK but I get the message "Error: Missing valid license key for this extension".

Do I need a license key for the core version?

If not, I'll report this to Watchful as an error.

Hi
I don't understand what you mean with "core version"
I have a Light and a Pro version
the Pro needs a licence to be updated automatically

Sorry - some developers refer to their non-Pro version as 'Core'. I meant your Light version. Watchful seems to think that it needs a licence key.

then you don't need a licence to update the light version
