Strange grain overlay my slide photos

My website shows the slide show ok, but has a dark color and kind of grain overlay?

this is because you have a pattern css class in the template, it will add this overlay

.pattern_1 .camera_overlayer {
background: url( pegasusfrance.co.uk/modules/mod_slidesho...atterns/overlay1.png ) repeat;
}

you can remove it using

    background: none;
}
