Slideshow module full width in protostar template?

Hi. I have the Slideshow module at banner position in Joomla's protostar default template, and I want to set full width. Is it possible to add some code to an user.css? Thanks in advance

the slideshow takes the places that is given by the template
you must make your modules position fullwidth, then you can publish the slideshow in it

Thank you. However, I don't know how to make the banner module fullwidth in protostar template. I'll leave it as come by default.
