Images added to a slideshow module do not correctly scale vertically, aspect ratio is not maintained appropriately.
Yes the images are 'responsive' and shrink in the horizontal but they are presented so large that the tops and bottoms are cut off. Only when the image width is significantly compressed does the whole image become visible.
Anyone have a solution - shan't be investing in pro until I fix this ....

in the module you can set the height, this must be the image ratio. You have a button aside the field that you can click to open a calculator, this will help you to calculate the correct height according to your images dimensions
