[Solved] Change width of slideshow?

Hi, I've done a lot of searching but can't seem to find the answer to this question.

Joomla version: 3.9.11
Slideshow CK version: 2.0.6 (slideshowck-light_2.0.6.zip)
Template: Protostar

I have a functioning slideshow and it's assigned to the "banner" module. I don't want it to take up 100% of the width of that module. Is there any way to assign it to take up, for example, 50% of the width of the module?

you shall do that in your template or with CSS, this is not really something managed by the module itself
the slideshow takes the allowed space
you must reduce your banner position size

Thanks for that information, which is what I thought would be the case. And just to confirm, the best way to accomplish this is by changing the allowed space in the template's CSS file?

yes, as you would do for any other module
