Cannot make shuffle work

First, this is a great module. My jaw dropped with the possibilities available.

I am using the lite version, with Gantry 5, and overall it works well, with good responsiveness: funazores.pt

The only thing that I cannot make work is the shuffle. Despite the option being set to 'shuffle', it presents the images in order. This is a minor issue in a great module, but I wonder if there is some simple fix.
