"invalid security token" when selecting article was created by levisan

My site is running the latest versions of Joomla and Slideshow CK.

When I edit a slideshow module on the front end, I go to slides manager, article options, and then click select to pick an article. The modal window appears, saying "The most recent request was denied because it had an invalid security token. Please refresh the page and try again."

Edit on the back end works without any issues.

Any ideas?
