Recent versions of Joomla 3.4 allow front-end editing of modules.
I cannot get this function to work with SlideshowCK.
It would be very useful to allow my clients - who do not have access to the admin panel - to be able to update their own slideshows from the front end.
Is there a plugin for this or will there be one in the future?
Thank you.
p.s. It is difficult to search for topics in the forum as the search box only allows 20 characters including spaces

I have discovered the reason: the SlideshowCK module is inserted into an article - using Modules Anywhere - in the main component area. To the left of the component area is a 'sidebar' containing other content so the only way to display the module in this position is within an article as I don't believe it is possible to create a menu item with a type of 'SlideshowCK'.
To enable editing of the slideshow I have created a new menu item on a menu with 'special' access and assigned the slideshow module to a position on this page. Now it is possible for logged-in users to edit the module.
