when you install the module the first time, there are some example prefilled

as you are on localhot I can not debug anything. You can try with the template protostar in position-1 to see how it renders, else you shall put your website on a live server temporary so that I can check

the problem is that the module is encapsulated into a
<div class="container">
this is giving the width to the module and this comes from your template.
Unfortunately I can not change this, try to find in your template how to make this area fullwidth
