How do I disable the custom text overlay? I delete the text in the content box, hit save and the module automatically inserts "Lorem Ipsum dolor sit amet".

I have to remove this from hte xml option
edit the xml file, find the Lorem ipsum text and remove it in the "default" property
then you should be able to save an empty text
