active menu open was created by peregrinedesign
I've seen this question on the forum but can't fix it. My submenu does not open on the active page. I'm pretty sure my menu structure is correct. Please look at this page: www.fiberkraft.com/joomla/index.php/prod...legal/filing/wallets

Sorry. If you navigate using the top menu to Products>Legal>Filing>Wallets, the sidebar menu item labeled 'Wallets' should be open. Likewise, it should remain open if using that sidebar menu to the same page.

check that you have set "base item" as current in the module options

But I don't want it to be current. Then it would show all menu items. I want the sidebar to start at a submenu and show all under that. Not possible with your module?

try to show your menu with a native joomla "mod_menu" module and tell me
Because my module uses the Joomla API to load the items and get teh active state regarding the current path
